LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State women's tennis team is headed up I-25 for the annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Regional Championships, Oct. 12-16, which begins Wednesday morning on the campus of the University of New Mexico.
 
The five-day tournament pits 16 teams from the mountain region against one another in both singles and doubles. The tournament bracket runs through 128 for singles action and 64 for doubles. Each player is guaranteed two matches because of the back draw for both singles and doubles.
 
All matches will be played at the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium, the Linda Estes Tennis Club and the LETC Indoor Bubble. Doubles play will open the tournament Wednesday morning followed by singles action.
