LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The New Mexico State men's tennis team wrapped up its play at the ITA Mountain Regional Championships on Saturday at the Darling Tennis Center.

The doubles pair of
Luis Flores and
Christofer Goncalves saw their winning-streak snapped at 12 on Saturday when they fell to Boise States pair of Kyle utters and Jack Heslin 6-3, 6-7, 10-2 in a best-of-three.

Mauri Benitez also fell in the singles consolation match to Idaho's Felipe Fonseca in straight-sets, 6-2, 6-2.

This weekend at the ITA Regionals was the last week of competition for the men's squad as they now prepare for the dual season. First day of action for NM State in the spring will be Friday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. against Mesa Community College at home.
