LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State women's golf team will conclude its 2016 fall season playing in the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, Oct. 23-25, at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
The Aggies are joined on the course by Baylor, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Idaho, Indiana, Long Beach State, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State, San Jose State, Texas, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UNLV and Vanderbilt.
The 54-hole Invitational will be played over three days at the Boulder Creek GC. Golfers will begin at 1 p.m. MT on Monday with a shotgun start. The remaining 36 holes will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday with another shotgun start for each round. Live stats for the tournament can be followed on

Camille Orito and
Angela Xu will represent the Aggies this weekend.
The Boulder Creek GC is a 6,301 yard, par-72 layout. Teams will play the front nine each day on the Desert Hawk course and back nine on the Coyote Run course.
NM State is coming off of a first-place finish at the Aggie Invitational which saw all five Aggie starters finish in the top-20 with Montoya (1), Chanachai (T2), Orito (T11), Cline (T18) and
Vale Macias (T18).
After claiming two of the first three events this season, the Aggies are ranked No. 37 on Golfstat. New Mexico State looks to continue its hot start this weekend against top-ranked opponents Baylor (No. 29), San Diego State (No. 31) and Texas (No. 14).
Following the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, New Mexico State will take a break until the spring season begins at the Peg Bernard Invitational in Stanford, Calif., Feb. 11-12.
