LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Fresh off their wins at the Wildcat Invitational, the NM State men's tennis team now heads north up I-25 for the annual Balloon Fiesta this weekend (Oct. 7-9).
 
The three-day tournament is hosted by New Mexico and consists of Abilene Christian, Air Force, Northern Arizona, New Mexico and New Mexico State. The format will be round robin with teams squaring off against a different team each day in singles and doubles.
 
On Friday, the Aggies will face off against Northern Arizona in doubles at the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium at 9 a.m. (MT) before taking on Air Force at 2 p.m. in singles. On Saturday, NM State battles host UNM at 9 a.m. before taking on Northern Arizona in singles at 11 a.m. New Mexico State then battles Abilene Christian at 3 p.m. in the Linda Estes Tennis Complex.
 
The teams wrap things up on Sunday at 9 a.m. with doubles as NM State takes on Abilene Christian in doubles followed by Air Force.  The Aggies then conclude the weekend with a bang as they square off against Battle of I-25 rival UNM in singles at the Linda Estes Tennis Complex.
