"The mountain region is always one of the toughest and deepest regions to compete in," said interim head coach
Joseph Rath. "The men's race will feature the first, second, and third ranked teams in the nation. The women's race will also feature the number one ranked team in the nation among a number of other nationally ranked teams. For us, it is exciting to compete in a field of this caliber. We get a chance to rise up to the level of our competition and try to and push and challenge ourselves in a race that is unlike any other we have competed in this year. I know both sides are excited and motivated to cap off their seasons with a strong finish in Logan, Utah"
Â
Competing on the women's side for NM State will be Cassandra Amberg,
Crissey Amberg,
Nichole Gomez,
Corinne Hanson,

Â
On the men's side, Herbert Beyalle III,
