LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State Athletic Department and its sports properties rights holder, Learfield's NM State Sports Properties, has inked a deal with KQTM in Albuquerque.
Â
"Having a presence in Albuquerque is very critical to our department as it is the largest pocket of alums and supporters," AD
Mario Moccia said. "I would like to thank New Mexico State Sports Properties and KQTM General Manager Joe O'Neill for making this possible. Even with the addition of TuneIn, we felt that it was important that we had an over-the-air station in Albuquerque."
Â
KTQM will air the remaining Aggie football season and Aggie men's basketball games on its ESPN Radio, 101.7 FM The Team. The only game that won't be available for Aggie fans will be this Friday, Nov. 18, when NM State travels to New Mexico. KQTM had previous obligations to air the local high school championships prior to the deal being signed.
Â
Aggie fans can listen in to the NM State men's basketball team tonight when they take on Samford at 7 p.m. (MT) in the Pan American Center as part of the University of San Diego Classic.
