DENVER – New Mexico State women's tennis junior
Rimpledeep Kaur was named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Month Tuesday afternoon.

This is the first honor for Kaur this season and the third since she won back-to-back weekly honors this past spring.

Kaur captured the singles title at the GCU Invitational with three-straight victories in Flight 1 of the tournament. In addition, she also won 2-of-3 doubles matches with teammate
Vanessa Valdez.

New Mexico State will open its dual season at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, against Central Oklahoma at the NM State Tennis Center.
