LAS CRUCES, N.M. – With an outstanding performance at the National Invitational Tournament this week, New Mexico State senior
Kenneth Fadke II has been selected the Western Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.

A senior from Hobbs, N.M., Fadke posted three rounds of par or better in posting his best finish of the season. Fadke fired identical 2-under 70s on Sunday and Monday for the first two rounds of the tournament, then wrapped up the NIT with an even-par 72 to chalk up a 4-under 212. He tied for 10th individually, his best finish of the season.

Fadke helped the Aggies to a 10th place finish as a team at the NIT with a 7-over 871.

Fadke join's Grand Canyon's Emma Mesta who was named the Women's Golfer of the Week.

It's the second time this season Fadke has been honored as the WAC Player of the Week.

The Aggies are in action again on Friday and Saturday, March 11 and 12, when they visit Laredo, Texas to compete in the Border Olympics at the Laredo Country Club.
