CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Camille Orito, Kristen Cline, Kacey Dalpes and Kennedie Montoya of the NM State women's golf team earned All-American Scholar honors as announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) on Tuesday.

This is the third-straight honor for Orito and the second for Cline while Dalpes and Montoya earned their first honor in the Crimson and White.

"Our team continues to impress me with their hard work in the classroom and on the golf course," head coach Jackie Booth said. "We travel four to five days every other week so we are missing a good amount of classes, but still get the job done. These ladies exemplify the definition of a true student-athlete. I'm very proud of how they represent the NM State women's golf team."

The WGCA All-American Scholar criterion is one of the most stringent in all of college athletics, requiring student-athletes to obtain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 for the academic year.
