Final Results
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. –
Isaac Merry led NM State as they finished in 16th at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate on Saturday. Playing at the par-72 UNM Championship Course, Merry finished in a tie for 42nd.
Merry recorded rounds of 74, 77 and 75 to finish 10-over (226) as he posted a stroke average of 75.33. This included nine birdies throughout three rounds.
Following a stroke behind Merry,
Luis Medina finished in a tie for 48th (227) as he birdied seven holes of his own.
Tadhg Campbell fired a personal-best 77 in round 3 and finished in a tie for 72nd.
Arthur Doorn, competing in his first career event, finished in 90th (244).
Michael McGilton finished in 92nd (254).
The Aggies finished the tournament 66-over (930). San Diego State led the field throughout the two days of competition and shot a one-under (863). Colorado State (873) and BYU (878) rounded out the top three.
The Aggies are off for two weeks before hosting the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, Oct. 17-18, at the NMSU Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M.
