LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State women's basketball guard,
Moriah Mack, was named the College Sports Madness WAC Player of the Week on Monday after leading the women's basketball team to a pair of wins over conference opponents, Grand Canyon University and CSU Bakersfield. The senior averaged 16.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 4.0 steals over 78 minutes of play.
The San Antonio, Texas native is the fourth Aggie to receive the honor of College Sports Madness WAC Player of the Week this season as teammates

Gia Pack have also earned the title.
Mack helped lead NM State both offensively and defensively to an 81-65 victory at GCU, as the guard dropped 18 points to go along with a team-leading five steals. On the night, the senior shot seven for 11 (.636) from the field, including a perfect two for two from beyond the arc and two for two from the free throw line.
During the second contest of the week, NM State traveled to take on CSU Bakersfield, as the team won 64-55. Mack led the Aggie starters in scoring with 14 points and four assists, to go along with five rebounds and three steals.
After the week, New Mexico State women's basketball moved to 12-6 on the year and 4-0 in WAC play. Mack has started in all 18 games for the Aggies and has averaged 12.0 points and 4.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists over that time. The senior also sits 48 points away from 1,000 for her career, with 10 games remaining in the regular season.
NM State's next contest will pit the team against the UMKC Roos, on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m. MT. This will be the second time this season the Aggies have squared off with the Roos, as they opened conference play with a 78-72 victory over UMKC on Jan. 5.
