NM State Women’s Golf Adds a Big Name to the Spring Roster

Women’s golf added a transfer from the University of Texas to bolster the roster this season

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State women's golf was not done building up a strong roster after signing day in November. The team recently added a transfer out of the University of Texas, Dominique Galloway. Galloway can be added to the spring roster on a team that completed the fall season in impressive fashion.
 
"She is a hard worker, extremely talented and one of the best players to come out of New Mexico in a long time! She will be a great Aggie and we're looking forward to having her join our team." Said coach Danny Bowen about the addition of the former Longhorn.

Freshman: Competed in all five events for the University of Texas…had two top-25 finishes…posted a stroke average of 74.43 over 14 rounds of play…had a round-low of 67 at the Las Vegas Intercollegiate
 
High School: Three-time state champion … Three-time metro champion … Won the New Mexico West Texas Women's Amateur … Earned runner-up honors at the North South Junior Amateur and the Big I Trusted Choice … Semifinalist for the USGA Women's Public Links Championship … Three-time participant in the USGA Girls Junior Championship … Finished in the top-10 twice in three times at the USGA Women's State Team Championship…won the Albuquerque Women's City Championship at age 15
