LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's golf team concluded day two of competition at the Aggie Invitational on Tuesday. NM State tied with UC Riverside for the best team score in round two at 292 (+4) which helped move the team into fourth place for a 36-hole total of 598 (+22).
Team play through the home tournament has been led by
Dominique Galloway who fired a 76-71-147 (+3) to tie for seventh place. Just two strokes behind Galloway is senior
Kennedie Montoya with totals of 76-73—149 (+5) which puts the Aggie in a tie for 16
th.
Pun Chanachai and
Maria Prado have each have a tournament score of 155 (+11) which puts the golfers in a tie for 30
th.
Kehler Koss rounds out the starters with a 90-73—163 (+19) to sit in 50
th.
For the individuals,
Tiegan Taylor and
Angela Xu are tied for 42
nd with a 36-hole total of 160 (+16).
Sacramento State still sits atop the team leaderboard with a score of 585 (+9), followed by UTEP at 595 (+19) and UC Riverside in third with a team score of 596 (+20).
