@NMStateSwimDive to Host Wyoming Friday

NM State swimming and diving hosts Wyoming in week two of competition.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's swimming and diving team hosts Wyoming on Friday, Oct. 20. The meet is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the NM State Swimming and Diving Complex.

"Wyoming is a strong Mountain West Conference team and has some great swimmers and an All-American diver," head coach Rick Pratt said. "They're going to give us some great challenges, but our squad is ready to improve from our efforts last week. We started off well last week, but still have a ways to go. We're a little healthier this week and now that we have a better idea of where we stand, that should allow us to arrange our line-up a little better. Our details were solid last week and now we need to really focus on our strategies to move forward. It's going to be a great experience and we're excited to compete."

The meet will consist of 16 events, beginning with the one-meter diving event. The remaining events include the 400 medley relay, 1000 free, 200 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 200 fly, 50 free, 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast, 500 free, 100 fly, 200 IM and the 200 free relay. The meet will also feature the three-meter diving category.
