EL PASO, TEXAS – The New Mexico State men's golf team shot a 294 (+10) on day two at the Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational on Saturday. The second round score brings the team total to 575 (+7) which puts the Aggies in a tie for sixth in the 13-team tournament.
Through 36 holes, team play for NM State has been led by
Tadhg Campbell who has a fired a 67-71—138 (-4) to tie for fourth.
Michael McGilton and
Isaac Merry have each shot a four-over, 146, to tie for 27
th.
Jack Snyder is tied for 34
th with scores of 72-75—147 (+5). Freshman
Taylor Stote rounds out the Aggie starters with a two-round total of 152 (+10).
For the individuals,
Ryo Harada has shot a 75-72-147 (+5) to tie for 34
th.
Tyler Svendson follows behind in a tie for 55
th at 72-79-151 (+9).
Davis Chung and
Cooper Donahue have each fired a 154 (+12) to tie for 72
nd.
Host UTEP sits in first place on the team leaderboard at 558 (-10), followed by Texas State with a team total of 564 (-4), while No. 24 Marquette and Oral Roberts are tied for third at 569 (+1).
