LAS VEGAS – The New Mexico State women's golf team completed the second round of play at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown on Monday. With a second round team score of 290 (+2), the Aggies sit in eighth with a 36-hole score of 578 (+2).
Team play was led by
Dominique Galloway who is tied for eighth on the individual leaderboard after firing a 70-69-139 (-5).
Maria Prado is tied for 15
th with scores of 71-70—141 (-3).
Kennedie Montoya has shot a five-over, 149, which puts the senior in a tie for 51
st.
Pun Chanachai is one stroke behind at 73-77—150 (+6) in a tie for 61
st and freshman
Tiegan Taylor fired a 75-76—151 (+7) to tie for 69
th.
Tournament host UNLV is currently atop the leaderboard with a team total of 555 (-21), followed by San Jose State in second at 562 (-14) and Missouri in third with a two-day score of 563 (-13)
