ALBUQUERQUE – The New Mexico State women's tennis team wrapped up its fall season on Sunday in Albuquerque at the Halloween Howl.

The Aggie Dutch duo of
Rebecca Keijzerwaard and
Quinty Janssen finished the slate on a high-note, taking down UTEP's Alisa Morzova and Erandi Martinez 6-2 in the second doubles flight.
Yadira Rubio and
Lindsay Harlas were bested in the top doubles flight 6-0 while
Vanessa Valdez and Helene Colvee lost to UNM's duo 6-3. Â

Valdez battled the Lobos' Diana Wong to the bitter end, but couldn't capture the win and fell 6-3, 3-6, 10-6. Keijzerwaard dropped her contest in the second singles flight 6-2, 6-3 while Harlas fell 6-1, 6-1 in the third singles flight. Rubio couldn't contain her counterpart from UNM before losing 6-0, 6-1. Colvee also went down on Sunday as NM State finished fall action.

New Mexico State now turns its focus to training and preparation for its dual season in the spring. The Aggies hit the road first for dual play, flying to Las Vegas for a pair of matches against UNLV and Weber State.
