DENVER –New Mexico State diver MacKinna Hauff earned Diver of the Week honors for the first time in the 2017-18 season, the Western Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday.
 
Hauff, who hails from Edmonton, Canada, had a breakthrough weekend against Idaho on Nov. 10th as she broke the NM State record for the three-meter dive with a score of 312.20 to place second. The record was previously held by 2009 diving member Mariesa Cloud (310.05). Hauff went on to finish in first-place against the Vandals in the one-meter diving event with a score of 305.15.
 
The Aggies will have a split squad as the swimmers host Northern Arizona beginning Friday, Nov. 17th, and concluding on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the NM State Swimming and Diving Complex. The divers head to Flagstaff, Ariz. for the Northern Arizona Diving Invite, which will be held Friday, Nov. 17th, through Sunday, Nov. 19th.
