LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's basketball team bolstered its roster for the 2018-19 season with the addition of point guard, Tayelin Grays.

The Dayton, Texas native attended Dayton High School. During her sophomore season, Grays helped lead the Broncos to a 26-12 record and finished fourth in the league. As a junior, she assisted the Broncos to a second-place finish with a 27-5 record. Thus far in her high school career, Grays has earned First Team All-District and TGCA All-Star team honors along with Co-Newcomer of the Year, Academic All-District, Dayton HS MVP, District Offensive MVP, All-Region, All-State and Player of the Week by the Liberty Vindicator.
Grays comes to NM State for the 2018-19 season as a 5-8 freshman who will add depth to the guard position for the Aggies.
