LAS CRUCES, N.M. –  New Mexico State swimming and diving was named a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team for the fall semester, as announced by the organization.Â
A record 638 teams were named Scholar All-America. In total 73% of CSCAA member programs posted a GPA above 3.00. An outstanding 91% of Division I women's teams met the 3.00 mark, including NM State. The Aggies cumulative GPA was above the women's average of 3.336 as they combined for 3.40.
Since the Scholar All-America program was introduced in 2010, NM State has been honored each semester. The Aggies have now posted a GPA above a 3.2 for 23 consecutive semesters.
New Mexico State continues its season as the team travels to Houston for the WAC Championships on February 22.
