LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team heads to Tuscon, Ariz. to take part in the 16-team National Invitational Tournament at the Omni Tucson National Resort - Catalina Course.
Joining NM State on the link is Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Colorado State, Iowa State, Nevada, Notre Dame, Princeton, San Francisco, San Jose State, Santa Clara, UNLV, Utah, UTEP and Wyoming.
The 54-hole intercollegiate will be played over two days at the Omni Tucson National - Catalina Course. The golf course is a par-73 layout which was selected as one of Golf Digest's "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America." The course has also played host to over 30 PGA Tour events, as well as the 2006 host of the NCAA Regionals.
The tournament is set to kick off on Monday, Feb. 27 at 8 a.m. MT with 36 holes of play, followed by the final 18 holes at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Live scoring for all 54 holes can be found on Golfstat.

Heading into the tournament, senior
Luis Medina leads the Aggies, posting a stroke average of 73.44. Medina is followed closely behind by freshman
Jack Snyder with an average of 73.58.
After the National Invitational Tournament, the NM State men's golf team will then travel to Laredo, Texas to participate in the Border Olympics, March 9-11.
