HULKING HOMERS

Bergeson's speed carried her around the bases as she hit her first homerun and the Aggies first inside-the-park homer this season.
Bergeson wasn't the only Aggie to hit her first home run of the season in Cathedral City, Calif. Kennedy Johnson hit a long ball to left field against Oklahoma State that tied the game in the bottom of the sixth. Johnson's homer was the third of her career at NM State.

UTEP is 2-11 this season as the Miners earned their first win against Siena at the Riverside Classic this past weekend. In the run rule victory, Devyn Cretz pitched five innings striking out seven batters and allowing only three hits.
Cortney Smith hit two long balls in the Miners victory over Utah State. She leads the team with four homers this season. She is also the only UTEP player with a batting average over .400.
