LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team travels to San Antonio Texas for the Lone Star Invitational, March 20-21, at the Briggs Ranch Golf Club. This is the eighth annual Lone Star Invitational, hosted by UT-San Antonio.
The Aggies and host UTSA are joined on the links by 13 teams, including Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Illinois, Little Rock, Louisiana-Lafayette, McNeese State, Mississippi State, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rice, Southeastern Louisiana, Texas State and UTEP.
The 54-hole, two-day event commences with two rounds on Monday, March 20, beginning at 7:30 a.m. MT. The final round begins at 7:30 on Tuesday, March 21. Each round tees off with a shotgun start. Live scoring for the event can be found on GolfStat.
Starting for the Aggies at the Lone Star Invitational is Ryo Harada, Luis Medina, Isaac Merry, Michael McGilton and Jack Snyder.
NM State heads to the Briggs Ranch Golf Club for the invitational to play on a 7,247 yard course with a par-72 layout.
After the Lone Star Invitational, NM State heads to Bryan, Texas for the Aggie Invitational, March 31-April 2.
