PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – The New Mexico State women's golf team completed day one of the Hawkeye 'El Tigre' Invitational on Sunday. Through 18 holes the Aggies sits in 12th place out of 14 teams with a score of 309 (+21).
Team play is led by
Camille Orito who posted a first round score of 76 (+4) to sit in a tie for 28th. Just behind Orito is
Pun Chanachai with a total of 77 (+5) which puts the freshman in a tie for 36th.
Kristen Cline and
Vale Macias head into day two tied for 43rd after they each posted a score of 78 (+6). Rounding out the group was
Dominique Galloway with an 18-hole total of 83 (+11) to complete the first round in a tie for 66th.
After day one at the El Tigre Invitational, Washington is in first place at 295 (+7), UTSA sits in second with a score of 297 (+9) and Ole Miss completes the top three with a total of 298 (+10).
