LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team travels to Bastrop, Texas for the Jim West Intercollegiate, April 10-11. The 54-hole event pits the Aggies against 11 teams in their regular season finale.
NM State is joined by Incarnate Word, Louisiana, Oral Roberts, Rice, Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana, St. Edward's, Stephen F. Austin, host Texas State, UTA and UT Rio Grande Valley.
The tournament will consist of 54-holes over two days. The first two rounds will begin at 7:30 a.m. MT on Monday, April 10. The final round of play will tee off at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11. Each round will begin with a shotgun start. Live scoring can be followed on BirdieFire.
Starting for NM State this weekend is Ryo Harada, Luis Medina, Isaac Merry, Michael McGilton and Jack Snyder. Davis Chung is competing as an individual. Medina currently leads the team with a 73.46 stroke average over 28 rounds this year, followed closely behind by Snyder at 74.32.
After the regular season wraps up on April 11, NM State men's golf then heads to Mesa, Ariz. for the WAC Championships, April 28-30.
