ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's golf squad wrapped up day one at the NCAA Regionals on Monday afternoon. Through the first 18 holes, the Aggies sit in 14th place out of 18 teams with a score of 307 (+19).
Dominique Galloway led team play for NM State with a first round total of 75 (+3) which put the freshman in a tie for 30th.
Kristen Cline was just behind in a tie for 41st after carding a 76 (+4).
Pun Chanachai and
Vale Macias tied for 63rd after they each shot a 78 (+6) in round one.
Camille Orito rounded out the Aggie lineup posting a score of 82 (+10) which put the golfer in 88th.
Heading into day two of the NCAA Regionals, Pepperdine sits in first place with total of 287 (-1), with Stanford in second at 290 (+2), while USC, Cal and Washington are all tied for third with a total of 295 (+7).
The second round of the tournament is on Tuesday, May 8. NM State is paired with Illinois and Cal Poly and the team's tee off at 8:24 a.m. MT on the 10th hole of the UNM Championship Course. Live stats for the entire tournament can be followed on
