ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico State women's golf completed the second round at the NCAA Regionals on Tuesday. On day two, the Aggies moved up to 13th place out of 18 teams with a score of 297 (+9) to post a 36-hole total of 604 (+28).
Dominique Galloway continued to pace the squad and the freshman has now carded a 75-74—149 (+5) to place in a tie for 39th.
Kristen Cline was just behind in a tie for 48th after posting rounds of 76-75—151 (+7).
Pun Chanachai and
Vale Macias tied for 51st after firing a two-round total of 152 (+8).
Camille Orito rounded out the Aggie lineup posting scores of 82-77--159 (+15) which put the golfer in a tie for 87th.
Approaching the final day of the NCAA Regionals, No. 1 Stanford sits in first place with total of 573 (-3), with Pepperdine in second at 577 (+1) and USC completes the top-three with a score of 580 (+4).
The third and final round of the tournament is on Wednesday, May 9. NM State is paired with Denver and Sacramento State with tee time set 8:24 a.m. MT on the 10th hole of the UNM Championship Course. Live stats for the entire tournament can be followed on
