LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State volleyball hosts the annual Crimson and White Scrimmage at 4 p.m. (MT) on Saturday, Aug. 19., at the Pan American Center. Admission is free for all those in attendance.

When asked about his team this season, head coach Mike Jordan said, "We want six players on the floor who we feel like we can score with and we've got that this year. That's going to make us pretty formidable this season."

The Aggies enter the season as the reigning Western Athletic Conference Regular Season Champions. New Mexico State returns all six starters and the WAC Libero of the Year Ariadnne Sierra. Of those returning, Jordan Abalos and Tatyana Battle were named to the 2016 All-WAC First Team and Sasha-Lee Thomas was named to the 2016 All-WAC Second Team.

NM State begins the season in South Bend, Ind., where the Aggies are set to compete in the Golden Dome Invitational. New Mexico State opens the tournament against Rhode Island on Aug. 25, at 2 p.m. (MT).
