LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's golf team opens the 2017-18 season at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic, Sept. 11-12, at the Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah.
NM State is joined on the course by 11 teams including CSU Bakersfield, GCU, Little Rock, North Dakota, Northern Colorado, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston State, Southern Utah, UTRGV, host Utah Valley and Weber State.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament tees off between 7:40-9:16 a.m. MT at holes one and 10 on Monday, Sept.11. Play on Tuesday, Sept. 12, begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. MT. Live scoring is not available for the event.

Chanachai led the Aggies last season with a 73.29 stroke average over 28 rounds of play. The impressive numbers earned the golfer Western Athletic Conference Freshman and Player of the Year.
The Hobble Creek GC is a 6,032 yard, par-71 layout. The course has been named the Daily Herald's Readers' Choice Awards Best of Utah Valley for seven years straight (2011-17).
Following the Hobble Creek Classic, the four-time defending WAC Champion Aggies head to Fort Collins, Colo. for the Col. Wolengerg's Ram Classic, Sept. 17-19.
