ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team wrapped up the first two rounds of play at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate on Friday. Through 36 holes the Aggies have a team score of 303-305—608 (+32) which puts them in tie for 14
th out of 17 teams.
Individual play for NM State was led by
Tadhg Campbell who fired a 72-73—145 (+1) which put the golfer in a tie for 7
th. Freshman
Taylor Stote shot a 79-73—152 (+8) to tie for 58
th.
Michael McGilton put up a 76-78—154 (+10) to tie for 67
th at the end of day one.
Jack Snyder posted a 77-81—158 (+14) which put the Aggie in a tie for 89
th and
Davis Chung was one stroke behind Snyder at 159 (+15) to round out the squad in a tie for 91
st.
Heading into the final round of play UNLV sits atop the team leaderboard with a 282-293—575 (-1), followed by Washington in second at 294-287—581 (+5) and BYU completes the top-three with a score of 284-302—586 (+10).
