ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – At the end of the two-day, 54-hole William H. Tucker Intercollegiate the New Mexico State men's golf team finished in 17
th after posting a team score of 303-305-314—922 (+58).
Individual play for the Aggie was led by
Tadhg Campbell who fired a 72-73-78—223 (+7). Campbell also led the Aggies with 10 birdies. Rookie
Taylor Stote tied for 66
th with scores of 79-73-78—230 (+14).
Michael McGilton registered a 76-78-79—233 (+17) which put the golfer in a tie for 81
st.
Jack Snyder and
Davis Chung rounded out the Aggie lineup in 91
st and 96
th, respectively.
BYU finished atop the team leaderboard at 284-302-286—872 (+8), followed by Arizona in second with totals of 292-297-287—876 (+12) while Washington finished in third with a team score of 294-287-296—877 (+13).
NM State now returns home to host the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, Oct. 16-17, at the NMSU Golf Course.
