LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Following a week-long break, the New Mexico State women's swimming and diving team returns to action as it prepares for a head-to-head meet against Rio Grande rival, New Mexico, on Saturday, Jan. 27. Competition is slated to begin at 11:30 a.m. MT at Seidler Natatorium.
"This is our last meet before WAC and our team is excited for the challenge," said head coach
Rick Pratt. "This is a very good UNM squad. They have some strong freestylers in the distance events and speed for the relays. This will be a great meet for our team and a chance to swim under pressure against our rival."
The Aggies, who enter the weekend 5-5, are on a quest to finish strong against their northern counterpart before the Western Athletic Conference Championships taking place Feb. 21-24 in Houston, Texas. Divers

Sheridan Decker look to continue their dominating performances in the one-meter and three-meter diving events after posting strong scores at the Grand Canyon meet on Jan. 6 and against CSU-Pueblo on Jan. 13.
