Raina Brommer of the New Mexico State diving team nabbed Diver of the Week honors for a third time this season, the Western Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday morning.
The Riverside, Calif. native led the Aggies during the first two meets of 2018, dominating the three-meter diving event at Arizona on Jan. 5. There she secured a first-place finish with a score of 288.95. Brommer continued to show her strength at the Grand Canyon meet on Jan. 6. In the one-meter diving category, she remained atop the chart with a score of 276.95. To close out the three-meter diving class, Brommer posted a score of 291.90 to earn another first-place finish.
New Mexico State returns to action on Jan. 13 at the NM State Swimming and Diving Complex as it welcomes CSU-Pueblo. Events are slated to begin at 11:30 a.m. (MT).
