LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's golf team heads to San Luis Obispo, Calif. for the Bruin/Wave Invitational, Feb. 26-27, at the San Luis Obispo Country Club. The two-day tournament contains 16 teams who are set to play three rounds.
NM State is joined on the links by hosts Pepperdine and UCLA, as well as Cal, Cal Poly, Colorado, CSUN, Fresno State, Hawaii, Sacramento State, San Diego State, San Francisco, San Jose State, Stanford, USC and Washington.
The Aggie starting lineup for the tournament features
Pun Chanachai,
Dominique Galloway,
Kehler Koss,
Kennedie Montoya and
Maria Prado. Chanachai is coming off taking home first place at the Mission Hills Invite to open spring play.
A two-day, 54-hole tournament at the Bruin/Wave Invitational begins on Monday, Feb. 26, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. MT where the teams are set to play two rounds of golf. The final 18 holes are set to tee off at 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

Following the Bruin/Wave Invitational the New Mexico State women's golf team returns to action at the Wildcat Invitational, March 5-6, at the Sewailo Golf Course in Tucson, Ariz.
