SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The New Mexico State women's golf team wrapped up day one of play at the Bruin/Wave Invitational on Monday. Through two rounds the Aggies sit in 15^th out of 16 teams with a 36-hole score of 644 (+68).
 
Pun Chanachai leads the way for NM State after day one after firing a 80-78—158 (+14) to sit in a tie for 39^th. Dominique Galloway follows just behind in a tie for 50^th shooting 78-82—160 (+16).
 
Maria Prado heads into round three in 69^th with a two-round total of 165 (+21). Kennedie Montoya and Kehler Koss sit in a tie for 74^th at 167 (+23) to round out the Aggie starters.
 
After day one No. 10 USC sits in first with a team score of 598 (+22), followed by host and No. 1 nationally ranked UCLA with a team total of 603 (+27) and San Diego State sits in third after firing a 610 (+34).
 
The third and final round of action at the Bruin/Wave Invitational begins on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 8:50 a.m. MT. Live scoring can be followed on Golfstat.
