LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's track and field team travels to Albuquerque, N.M., for the Don Kirby Invitational beginning on Friday, Feb. 9. The Aggies final regular-season meet is set to take place at the ABQ Convention Center and is hosted by New Mexico.

During her last meet,
Jess Dominguez posted the top time for NM State as she finished in eighth in the 3,000m with a new personal best (10:22.10).
Lashira Tremble also recorded a personal record at the New Mexico Classic when she clocked in at 7.58 in the 60m dash, a time that ranks fourth all-time in the Aggie record books.

NM State faces top talent at the Don Kirby Invitational including No. 3 Oregon and No. 25 Arizona State. Other squads in attendance include Angelo State, Appalachian State, Campbell, Central Arizona, Colorado State, Columbia, Eastern New Mexico, Grand Canyon, Long Beach State, Nevada, New Mexico, New Mexico Highlands, New Mexico JC, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Oklahoma State, Rice, Sam Houston State, San Diego State, San Francisco State, San Jose State, Southern Utah, University of the Southwest, Stanford, Stephen F. Austin, Tulane, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Colorado Springs, UCLA, Utah, Utah State, UTEP, Washington, Washington State, West Texas A&M and Wyoming.

New Mexico State starts the meet with the women's weight throw at 4 p.m. MT on Friday. Running events for the Aggies begin with the unseeded 400m at 5:30 p.m. NM State concludes the meet on Saturday with the first events of the day being the shot put at 9:30 a.m. and the 60m hurdles at 10 a.m.
