TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State women's golf team wrapped up day two of action at the MountainView Collegiate on Saturday. After firing a 303 (+15) in the second round, the Aggies moved up into a tie for eighth out of 15 teams with a team total of 603 (+27).
An impressive second round from
Pun Chanachai shoot a 69 (-3)to bring her two-day total to 143 (-1) which moved the sophomore into a tie for first place.
Dominique Galloway fired a 78 (+6) and has a total of 152 (+8) as the Aggie sits in a tie for 32
nd.
Kennedie Montoya's two round total is one stroke behind Galloway at 153 (+9) and the senior is currently tied for 40
th.
Maria Prado shot a 77 (+5) on Saturday for a two-day score of 155 (+11) to sit in a tie for 50
th.
Kehler Koss rounded out the starting lineup at 165 (+21) and is tied for 76
th.
Tiegan Taylor, competing as an individual, has a 36-hole score of 161 (+17) and is tied for 71
st.
After the second day of play Kansas sits atop the team leaderboard at 589 (+13), followed by San Jose State in second at 591 (+15), while Wichita State, Central Arkansas and Illinois are tied for third at 592 (+16).
