TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State women's golf team completed day one of play at the Wildcat Invitational on Monday at the Sewailo Golf Course. Through two rounds of play the Aggies sit in 14
th place out of 17 teams with a score of 605 (+29).
Team play has been led by
Pun Chanachai who sits in a tie for 12
th after shooting a 68-75—143 (-1).
Dominique Galloway followed with a 77-72—149 (+5) to tie for 42
nd.
Kennedie Montoya sits in a tie for 64
th with NM State's
Kehler Koss, competing as an individual, as they fired a 154 (+10).
Maria Prado has shot a 77-82—159 (+15) which puts the golfer in a tie for 84
th. Then
Tiegan Taylor rounds out the Aggie lineup in 93
rd after firing an 85-85—170 (+26).
Heading into round three No. 1 UCLA sits in first place with a team total of 562 (-14), followed by host Arizona in second at 572 (-4) and No. 7 Texas with a score of 574 (-2).
