TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State women's golf team completed the two-day, three round Wildcat Invitational at Sewailo Golf Course on Tuesday. The Aggies shot a 911 (+47) after 54 holes to finish in 15
th.
Pun Chanachai finished atop the Aggies golfers after firing a 68-75-75—218 (+2) to tie for 14
th.
Dominique Galloway shot a 77-72-76—225 (+9) which put the golfer in a tie for 41
st.
Kennedie Montoya came in with scores of 77-77-76—230 (+14) to tie for 59
th.
Maria Prado finished in a tie for 90
th after shooting a 77-82-83—242 (+26) and
Tiegan Taylor rounded out the starters with a total of 85-85-79—249 (31) to take 93
rd.
Kehler Koss competed as an individual and finished in a tie for 68
th.
The conclusion of the Wildcat Invitational saw No. 1 UCLA take home first place with a team score of 847 (-17), followed by host No. 21 Arizona at 856 (-8) and No. 7 Texas in third after firing an 860 (-4).
New Mexico State gets back on the links with a tournament across the border at the El Tigre Invitational in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, March 16-17.
