BRYAN, Texas – The New Mexico State men's golf team wrapped up the first day of action at the Aggie Invitational on Saturday at the Traditions Golf Club. Through two rounds the Aggies shot a 323-306--629 (+53) and sit in 13
th place.
Team play on day one was led by
Isaac Merry who sits in a tie for 38
th on the individual leaderboard after firing a 74-79—153 (+9). Four strokes behind Merry is
Michael McGilton who shot an 83-74—157 (+13) to sit in a tie for 53
rd.
Tristin Goodwin placed in a tie for 60
th through 36 holes with scores of 82-77—159 (+15).
Ryo Harada is tied for 71
st after shooting an 87-76—163 (+19) and
Tadhg Campbell rounds out the squad in 78
th at 84-86—170 (+26).
The remainder of the second round was cut short for the teams still on the course due to darkness and are set to be completed along with the final round on Sunday, April 8. Live scoring for the event can be followed on
