LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Aggies in Paradise will once again kick off the athletic season for New Mexico State. This year's island-themed party is scheduled for Friday, August 17, on the 50-yard line in Aggie Memorial Stadium at 6 p.m. (MT).
 
Fans are encouraged to come out and enjoy a fun-filled evening with fellow Aggie supporters, meet the student-athletes, coaches and staff members. The annual fundraiser for NM State includes dinner and host bar in addition to both silent and live auctions.
 
Last year's event broke the previous attendance record with 500 Aggie supporters and raised over $40,000 for the Aggie Athletic Club. The mission of the AAC is to offset the educational expenses for NM State student-athletes.
