JUNIOR (2012): Scott played in all 124 sets during the 2012 season en route to becoming one of the best middle blockers in the WAC. She finished the season as the Aggies’ top blocker with 152 total blocks, including 27 solo blocks and 125 assisted blocks, all of which were tops on the NM State team. Her 152 total blocks also ranked Scott fourth-best in the WAC. Scott’s best block total of the season came versus Seattle (Sept. 13) when she amassed 12 total blocks. Scott also led the Aggies in hitting percentage, finishing with a .369 average, which was the second-highest among WAC players. She had an incredible .889 hitting percentage while marking eight kills on nine attempts in a match against Cincinnati (Aug. 31). Scott was also second on the NM State squad in total points (361) and points/set (2.92) while finishing third on the team in total kills (272) and kills/set (2.19). Her season-high in kills came against Texas State (Nov. 08) when she finished with 19 total kills, a career best.
Scott’s numbers only improved once conference play began. She led the conference with a .420 hitting percentage during WAC play and her 93 total blocks during WAC play were third-best in the conference. She capped off her best season at NM State by helping the Aggies win the WAC Tournament Championship and advancing to the NCAA Tournament. Scott finished the WAC tournament with 31 kills and 10 blocks in three games.
At the conclusion of the season, Scott was rewarded for her hard work by earning her first selection into the All-WAC first team.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Scott played in 98 sets for the Aggies during the 2011 season. Her 143 kills and 1.46 kills/set average were both 5th best on the team. Scott also finished third on the NM State squad in blocks with 76, trailing only seniors Michelle Kuester's 127 and Kelsey Brennan's 82. Her 0.78 blocks/set average was second highest on the team, only trailing Kuester's 1.19 average. Scott also tied Kuester during Western Athletic Conference play with nine solo blocks, sharing the team high.
Scott tallied a career-high 12 kills against Colgate (9/16) to help the Aggies to a 3-1 victory. She was a perfect six kills on six attacks during a three-set sweep of Utah State (10/1). Scott also had eight kills during a NM State loss to nationally ranked Hawai'I (10/12) and posted six kills on nine attacks, a .667 hitting percentage, during the Aggies' first match of the WAC tournament against San Jose State (11/21).
At the end of the season Scott was rewarded for her play by receiving an honorable mention selection on the COBRA Magazine All-National Team, which celebrates the success of volleyball players of African and Samoan and Tongan descent in hopes of encouraging young girls of those ethnic groups across the country to pursue the sport.
FRESHMAN (2010): Scott saw action in 99 sets (30 matches) as a freshman and finished the season with 106 kills, averaging 1.07 per set. She marked the first kills of her career against Florida International (8/27) after tallying four on the afternoon. Scott posted a season-high nine kills in her hometown of Tucson against Arizona, although NM State fell in straight sets. She posted at least five kills in 10 matches while marking a season-high six total blocks in four matches. Scott finished the season with 76 total blocks, 12 of those blocks solo.
HIGH SCHOOL: Scott came to the NM State volleyball program after playing two years under coach AJ Malis at Catalina Foothills High School in Tucson, Ariz. She earned varsity letters in 2008 and 2009 and earned second team all-region honors those two years. Scott also lettered in track and field in 2007 and was the regional high jump champion.
PERSONAL: Scott was born in The Netherlands and is the daughter of Lisette and Aaron Jarmon. She is undecided on a major.
