High School: Coleman competed in basketball, soccer and track and field for Desert Ridge High School, in Mesa, Ariz. In track and field, Coleman ran the 100m and 400m hurdles as well as the 4x400m relay. She was selected all-District for the 100m and 300m hurdles in 2013. ?Coleman set the record for the 100m and 400m hurdles and the 4x400m relay for her high school.
Personal: Coleman is the daughter of Atwood and Kathleen Coleman and was born in Lafayette, La. She plans to major in engineering physics.
