LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Motown Bound. NM State Football has officially accepted an invitation to participate in the Quick Lane Bowl, hosted on December 26, 2022. The game will be played inside Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.

In the coming hours, a bowl central page will be made available on nmstatesports.com/bowl. This landing page will become a one-stop shop for all things related to NM State's trip to Detroit. The page will be frequently updated as more information surrounding the game becomes available to the NM State Athletic Department.
 
Tickets for the Quick Lane Bowl will be available for purchase through the Pan American Center ticket office by calling (575) 646-1420 beginning Monday at 12:00 p.m. MT. Fans can also visit the NM State box office, located on the north end of the Pan American Center, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. MT.
 
A trip to the Quick Lane Bowl will be the first in NM State history. The second bowl game appearance in five years marks just the fifth in Aggie history, joining 2017, 1960, 1959, and 1936. In the previous four bowl game appearances, NM State has posted a record of 3-0-1.
 
For the fifth time this season, NM State will play in front of a national audience as the Quick Lane Bowl will air nationally on ESPN. Earlier this season, the Aggies also played on ESPN2, ESPNU, and twice on the Big Ten Network.
 
NM State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia and head football coach Jerry Kill will meet with members of the media today at 3:00 p.m. MT to formally discuss the bowl invitation. Additional information will be posted to the NM State Football social media pages as it becomes available in the coming days.
