FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Junior
Raina Brommer led the way for New Mexico State on the final day of the Northern Arizona Diving Invite as she posted a score of 203.65 during platform finals to notch a fourth-place finish.
"Platform today went really well," said diving coach
Miranda King. "MacKinna and Lilia both had a solid list for their first platform meet this year. Raina stepped up today, competing three new dives for the first time. She hit all of her dives in prelims to finish second and she did great in the finals. I couldn't be happier for these girls."
During platform preliminaries, Brommer recorded 221.95 to finish second out of 15 divers.
MacKinna Hauff placed 14th with a score of 148.80, while
Lilia de Oliveira Pelaez rounded out the group in 15th with a score of 127.45.
The Aggies will return to action on Feb. 21-24 as they head to Houston, Texas for the Western Athletic Conference Championships. Fans can stay up to day by following @NMStateSwimDive on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
