NM State Football Complex
NM State Football Complex
Opened in the fall of 2025 at a cost of $15.75 million, the NM State Football Complex is a two-story, state-of-the-art facility that provides the Aggie football program with a centralized space for all its needs. The complex houses lockers for student-athletes and coaches, showers, restrooms, the team’s equipment room, an athletic training room, position meeting rooms, academic study areas and a conference room.
On the ground floor, the building features a modern, open-concept space with 120 individual lockers. Each locker includes storage for equipment and a secure compartment for personal valuables with a programmable code. Illuminated signage above each locker displays the student-athlete’s name and hometown. This level also includes a bathroom area with individual showers and even a barber chair.
Elsewhere on the first floor, an equipment room is designed to support staff needs, featuring laundry equipment and organized storage for the extensive gear required for competition at the highest level.
The second floor houses the athletic training area, which the football program utilizes daily. This space includes three hydrotherapeutic pools to assist with injury rehabilitation and help student-athletes recover and maintain peak performance. The upper level also features locker rooms for staff, eight position-specific meeting rooms for film sessions, and a conference room for collaborative processes.
Throughout the building, artwork celebrates the history of NM State football, including Ring of Honor displays, significant historical moments, coaching contributions, and a dedicated wall honoring former Aggie players who advanced to the NFL.
