LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's cross country team travels to Provo, Utah, for the NCAA Mountain Regional at the East Bay Golf Course, hosted by BYU, on Friday, Nov. 9. The 6k championship race is set for 11 a.m. MT.

At the Western Athletic Conference Championship, NM State's women's team took fourth with.
Julia Yescas and
Jess Dominguez earning all-conference honors following their performance in the 6k race. Yescas finished in 10
th when she clocked in at 21:15.50. Dominguez followed closely behind in 13
th with a time of 21:25.40.

Joining Yescas and Dominguez are five other members of the team ready to run at the postseason meet including seniors
Kelli Kirkpatrick and
Stephanie Quintero. The trio of
Corinne Hanson,
Elana Kresl and
Leah Salazar round out the squad making the trip.
