LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team embarks on its final road trip in Western Athletic Conference play, heading up to the Pacific Northwest for the second WAC cluster hosted by Seattle U at the Championship Field Tennis Courts.

First up for NM State as it plays three matches in three days to determine the regular-season champion and the WAC Tournament's No. 1 overall seed is host Seattle U on Friday, April 6, at 2 p.m. (MT). The Redhawks are 7-11 on the season and 0-2 in league play – getting swept in both WAC matches. SU is 3-3 when playing at home. Kyra Jung is leads the team with a 15-12 mark in singles action while Michelle Lui and Kali McCollister round out the double-digit winners with 12 wins apiece.

Next up for the Aggies are the Vaqueros of UT Rio Grande Valley, the only other team in league play without a loss. NM State and UTRGV is scheduled to face off on Saturday, April 7 at 5 p.m. (MT). The Vaqueros are set to take on Chicago State the day before. Dominique Ibarra leads the list of four players with double-digit wins at 17-4 overall in singles action with a 13-3 mark in dual play. Lasya Patnaik is second on the team with a 12-9 record while Dominique Esparza and Doris Aleksovska round things out with 10 wins each.

Should the Aggies win the first two games, they'll take on UMKC at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 8, for the league title. The Roos are 10-9 overall and 2-1 in league play heading into this weekend and will face off against Grand Canyon on Saturday before taking on the Aggies. UMKC's lone loss in league play came at the hands of UTRGV, snapping what could've been a six-match winning-streak heading into the second cluster. Katie Fries paces the team with a 16-6 overall record in singles action while Aliona Ladutska sits right behind with a 15-5 overall mark. Melinda Johnson wraps up the list of double-digit winners with a 14-9 mark in singles while Grace Ball and Yana Grechkina are one win shy of reaching double-digits.

After league action, NM State returns home for its final home match of the regular-season as it plays host to UTEP on Saturday, April 14, at 2 p.m. (MT) before heading off to Phoenix to face off against Arizona Christian (April 25) prior to playing in the WAC Tournament (April 27-29).
