DELAND, Fla. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team did battle with Milwaukee on the final day of the Stetson Invitational in Deland, Fla., on Sunday.
 
Harsha Challa started the day with a 6-1, 7-5 win over Maya Perova before Neus Torregrosa defeated Nikki Milner 6-1, 7-6. Sophomore Chloe Gavino kept the Aggies rolling with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Nicole Clarke followed by a victory from Gavi Kalaga, 6-4, 7-6.
 
After Bella Nguyen took down Agata Jurczak, Lucija Josipovic kept NM State perfect on the day with a 3-6, 6-1, 11-9 win over Aniha Tylek.
 
On the doubles side, Torregrosa and Nguyen picked up the Aggies' lone doubles win, 7-6.
 
NM State now gets the winter off before getting the spring season underway at North Texas on Saturday, Jan. 18.
