LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State swimming and diving team returns to the pool for Senior Day when it hosts Grand Canyon in a Western Athletic Conference meet at the NM State Swimming and Diving Complex on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 11:30 a.m. (MT).  
 
"We're excited for our last dual meet of the season and to celebrate our large senior class who have sacrificed much for our program," said head coach Rick Pratt. "It's our last chance to race and prepare our strategies for the WAC Championship meet and competing at home during senior day is the perfect environment for that.  GCU have some of the top swimmers in the WAC and there will some great match ups.  For us to be successful we're going to have to have great energy and use our depth to our advantage."
 
The Aggies are set to contest the 1m dive, 3m dive, 200 Medley relay, 1000 Free, 200 Free, 100 Back, 100 Breast, 200 Fly, 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Back, 200 Breast, 500 Free, 100 Fly, 200 IM and the 400 Free relay.
 
Last Time Out
The New Mexico State divers competed in the Air Force Academy Diving Invitational in Colorado Springs on Feb. 1 and 2. The divers competed in the 3m and the platform events. MacKinna Hauff placed the highest in the 3m with a score of 528.80, good for sixth place. Raina Brommer performed the best in the platform even, placing fourth at 432.25.
